Shield Rite was formed in 1987 by Dr. Dave Merewether as a manufacturer of high quality RF doors and RF shielded manned structures and non-occupied equipment shelters. The Shield Rite door is a patented design installed in over 200 locations worldwide and recognized by the industry as the most robust RF door on the market.

     Shield Rite was purchased by JAYCOR in June of 2002. All manufacturing rights and patents for Shield Rite technologies were aquired in the purchase. All key personell transferred to JAYCOR as well. As a result, JAYCOR moved into a new manufacturing/fabrication facility in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Since then, JAYCOR has manufactured over 30 Shield Rite style doors and grossed over $10 million dollars in contracts.
