The Visibility Sensor is the first roadside weather condition detection and reporting system designed and developed by Titan's Advanced Technologies Group (formerly Jaycor, Inc.) for low-cost, low-power, low-maintenance, remote operation. The specific product application is designed for urban and rural highways across the country. The sensor unit is housed in a small NEMA enclosure with weather-tight connections to a Call Box pole or other structural conduit. Power and signal lines pass through the weather-tight connections to a Call Box or other roadside controller or communication device. The on-board processor in the Visibility Sensor provides the versatility required to meet a wide range of applications. Four TTL, low true, alarm status flags and RS232 are available from the Visibility Sensor. Patent PendingVisibility Sensor Main Page | Functional Description | Technical Description | Technical Data
