Water Purification System

Safe drinking water is something that is often assumed, but should never be taken for granted. In an earthquake, storm, flood, terrorist attack, or civil strife, etc., people are often deprived of their "lifeblood:" safe drinking water. The death and rampant sickness that follow disasters, are to a great extent, preventable. The GBI systems provide a method of circumventing these growing problems. Titan's Applid Technologies Sector (formerly Jaycor) is the authorized distributor of the GBI Water Purification Systems that were initially developed for the U.S. Military as fast response, portable, medium capacity fresh water purification systems with NBC filtration capability. They are self-contained, handstarted diesel pump, and one person operable.

Diatomaceous Earth (DE)

The system incorporates DE to filter at one (1) micron. This ensures that all chlorine tolerant organisms (e.g., Cryptosporidium) are removed by the filter prior to chlorination. The system is capable of producing safe drinking water from biologically-contaminated fresh water sources such as lakes, streams, ponds, wells, and municipal systems. After processing by the unit, the water will be free of biological contaminates.
