Under the sponsorship of the Department of Transportation's National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTS), Titan's Advanced Technologies Group (ATG) is developing biomechanical models of head trauma using anatomical geometry extracted directly from medical imaging. These high-fidelity models, coupled with laboratory tests and advanced test dummies, will help the industry devise better systems to reduce the occurrence of head injury and the medical community in devising more effective treatment.
